Honey locust trees

I don’t know whether these beautiful trees are known as “honey” locust because of the honey-like aroma of their blossoms or the delicate golden color of the blooms (especially noticeable from a distance) or both!

Supposedly, heavy blooming is a prediction of a good corn crop. The farmers should have a record corn crop this year, I don’t remember when I’ve seen these trees bloom so thickly.
