“Trials” as in, struggling with software that’s meant for more capable computers than mine…I’m about to throw in the towel on a few of them that I’ve explored…too labor intensive and taking up faaaar too much of my limited time for such things… In fact I spent about 4 hours late Sunday eve trying this and that, learning a bit but essentially accomplishing nothing…mrrhh…except a headache from lack of sleep…
Anyways, I have actually produced another fairly good rendering via Incendia. That took 8+ hours (for rendering)! Plus I did a little “photoshopping” (even though I don’t personally use Photoshop but that’s the generic term we artsy folks sometimes use, I guess, LOL) which I think improved its colors as well as the contrast. Only thing I didn’t like about that was the funny streaking in the background, but at least the main objects look somewhat better than my earlier efforts. I can see that Incendia will take me a good while to get good at. I know the basics now…thanks to a certain very kind friend who gave me some tips! It’s hard to find advice online about Incendia, I haven’t even seen much in the way of tutorials…but my hardware is having a harder time with it than I am!…
The second image here was created in about 20 minutes with an older program, Chaoscope. I still love Chaoscope because it is easy and relatively fast to use, even though the renderings are admittedly not as nice as what you get with a more modern program like Incendia…
